- Identifying problems with a sewer camera: Wizard Plumbing and Drain uses advanced sewer cameras to look deep into your main lines, allowing our technicians to determine whether there’s a problem with your sewer, and whether repair or replacement is the best option.
- Cleaning your pipes: If our plumbers come to the conclusion there is an issue with your sewer line, they will clean out any roots and de-scale the pipe fully, returning the line to its original diameter before beginning the repair process.
- Installing new pipe liner: After all cleaning and prep is complete, our plumbers will line your pipe with a custom two part epoxy. The liner is pulled into place and then inflated to start curing. Once the epoxy has been hardened, we will go back in with a camera to ensure a fully formed lining is securely in place, thus reinforcing your pipe.
- Inserting new pipe: If we have determined that your sewer line is beyond repair, we will begin the trenchless sewer replacement process by digging 2 small holes at either end of your sewer line and inserting a cable into each end. At one end, the cable is attached to a pneumonic jack, while the other end is attached to a cone shaped bursting head. Next, we attach the bursting head to a heat fused HDPE pipe, which is pulled through your old sewer line. By doing this, we are able to break up your old line while leaving the new one in its place!
